The ventilation system in this building works as follows:
Fresh air to all units is supplied by a vent located in the common hallway. Another source of fresh air are the windows. However, you should not need to open your windows if the ventilation works as designed. There are a few reasons why the system can fail to work adequately. These will not be discussed here.
The air supply enters the unit through a 1/4 inch gap at the bottom of the entry door(s).
The air is exhausted by vents located in the kitchen and bathroom.
A map of each unit's ventilation system has been provided below. Please use the map that corresponds to your unit, ending in either 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 or 08.
